On Dec 9th, over ten international students from Northwestern Polytechnical University came to Baoji, the 5th station of the event "Travel to Know My Second Home, Shaanxi" organized by DiscoverShaanxi.
Baoji locates in the west of central Shaanxi. It is famous for the Famen temple which preserves the Buddhist relics of Shakyamuni and the biggest Bronze ware museum. And the international students were excited about this trip.
In the early morning, the international students arrived at Famen temple. Walking on the 1230m long avenue, Léo Vallet was so excited to capture the Buddhist sculptures and buildings. The guide introduced that the Buddhist scriptures represents the wisdom of Buddhist which can erase all trouble. "So I want to take more photos, hoping to erase all my troubles", said Léo.
早晨九点刚过，法门寺就迎来了第一批特殊的游客。一下车，这些外国朋友远远就看到了传说中的合十舍利塔，言语间难掩好奇与兴奋。走在长1230米的佛光大道主道上，法国小伙儿Léo Vallet不由地加快了脚步，并用相机记录下沿途的十尊菩萨和经幢。听导游说，经幢上的佛经象征着佛法的智慧，能够降服一切烦恼，"我想多拍一些，把烦恼都消除掉，"Léo 神秘地说。
After this, the international students visited the pagoda which preserved the relics of Sakyamuni and Famen temple museum to learn about over 160 pieces of cultural relics from Tang dynasty.
